Parents & Caregivers
We Are Greater Than Our ACEs
Brave fACEs is here to provide you with tools and resources to better understand Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how they may affect your child’s health and well-being. Remember: many children deal with difficult experiences at some point, so if your child has, they’re not alone.
There are many ways parents and loved ones can help their children build resilience. Caregivers who understand their own ACE score can learn how their past experiences may shape their parenting, stress responses, and relationships with their children. Recognizing your own childhood adversity allows you to break cycles of trauma, develop healthier coping strategies, and build stronger emotional connections with your child.
