Brave fACEs Press Room
Brave fACEs is a Community Health Endowment Legacy Project designed to increase awareness, provide education, and deliver essential support to prevent ACEs in the Lincoln, Nebraska, community.
Through partnerships and generous funding provided by the Community Health Endowment (CHE) and Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), Brave fACEs aims to equip Lincoln with the resources needed to understand and respond to trauma.

Brave fACEs uses the CDC’s decades-old ACEs assessment to help children and adults recognize trauma, access community resources, and build resilience, with the ultimate goal of preventing adverse childhood experiences and creating a healthier Lincoln community.
The Beyond the Score panel brought survivors, experts, and community members together to explore the impacts of childhood trauma, share experiences, and promote resilience through education, support, and the Brave fACEs initiative.
